Michelle Newman

Michelle is thrilled to be a part of the Armour Heights Tiny Tots team. As a professionally trained singer and vocal coach Michelle has trained with some of Toronto’s finest coaches including Elaine Overholt.  Michelle has been singing in and around the GTA for over 12 years. Some of Michelle’s credits include singing backup for Tina Turner, Performing alongside Donny Osmond in Joseph at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre, performing the National Anthems at Toronto Raptors Games as well as singing in many television shows and films. After completing college Michelle was looking to peruse a career in either teaching or music. Teaching music has been able to give Michelle an opportunity to sing every day and help others achieve their goals. Michelle’s confidence, passion, experience and positive energy will undoubtedly able her to lead great classes at the community centre.

Donna Perlus

Donna has a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as being a certified fitness instructor for children and adults. She began her career in Montreal teaching primary school for 5 years, and once she moved to Toronto, taught for 7 years at the Montcrest School. After raising her family, Donna conducted lunch-time fitness programs for the Toronto District School Board. She has been working at Armour Heights for the past 20 years teaching adult fitness classes, kid fit classes, line dancing and Fantasy Fitness.

Ben Knight

Ben Knight's lively mix of songs and stories has been delighting pre-schoolers across Toronto -- and Ontario -- since 2003.  His classes are filled with original and classic tunes, poems, stories and lots of silly surprises.  A happy, energetic mix of words, music -- and fun!
